  1. (Isa 6:3) And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!”

  159. (Isa 10:16) Therefore the Lord God of hosts will send wasting sickness among his stout warriors, and under his glory a burning will be kindled, like the burning of fire.

  246. (Prov 15:33) The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor.

  266. (Obad 18) The house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau stubble; they shall burn them and consume them, and there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau, for the Lord has spoken.

  273. (2 Sam 23:19) He was the most renowned of the thirty and became their commander, but he did not attain to the three.
  274. (Neh 9:5) Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said, “Stand up and bless the Lord your God from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.
  275. (Ps 149:4) For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation.
  276. (Prov 29:23) One’s pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.
  277. (Isa 23:9) The Lord of hosts has purposed it, to defile the pompous pride of all glory, to dishonor all the honored of the earth.
  278. (Jer 14:21) Do not spurn us, for your name’s sake; do not dishonor your glorious throne; remember and do not break your covenant with us.
  279. (Ezek 31:15) “Thus says the Lord God: On the day the cedar went down to Sheol I caused mourning; I closed the deep over it, and restrained its rivers, and many waters were stopped. I clothed Lebanon in gloom for it, and all the trees of the field fainted because of it.
  280. (Dan 11:36) “And the king shall do as he wills. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done. (Hab 2:16) You will have your fill of shame instead of glory. Drink, yourself, and show your uncircumcision! The cup in the Lord’s right hand will come around to you, and utter shame will come upon your glory!
  281. (Acts 7:2) And Stephen said: “Brothers and fathers, hear me. The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,
  282. (2 Cor 3:11) For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.
  283. (Heb 3:3) For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses—as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself.
